The idyllic and well-signposted network of cycle paths through the Winsener Elbmarsch allows visitors to cycle across the region in as relaxed or sporting a manner as they wish…

… The varied tours lead along the banks of the river, through rustling forests and offer magnificent views over green meadows and open fields. On the way you can see picturesque villages, medieval churches, romantic lakes, Winsen’s moated castle and Europe’s largest marshalling yard. Special cycle route maps with extensive descriptions of the trails are available from the Tourist Information Centre.
